Agreement to terms

By accessing or using Widget-Chat's services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the service.

Service description

Widget-Chat is a drop-in AI chat widget for Flutter, FlutterFlow, React, and the web. It is embedded with the widget_chat package or a single iframe/script tag and configured from a no-code dashboard. We provide the tools to embed, customize, and manage AI chat in your applications.

Account registration

To use the service, you must:

• Provide accurate and complete registration information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
• Be at least 13 years of age (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction)
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Violate any laws or regulations in your jurisdiction
• Infringe upon the intellectual property rights of others
• Transmit malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the service
• Use the service to harass, abuse, or harm others
• Scrape or collect data without permission

Plans and payments

Plans

Widget-Chat offers a Free Forever plan with no credit card required, plus paid tiers as you scale. Plan details are outlined on our pricing page and may change with notice.

Billing

Paid subscriptions are billed in advance through secure third-party providers. Failure to pay may result in suspension of paid features; you may return to the Free Forever plan.

Cancellations and refunds

You can cancel a paid subscription at any time and keep access until the end of your billing period. Refund requests are evaluated on a case-by-case basis — contact our support team for assistance.

User identity and security

Operators are responsible for how they identify their end users. User IDs are hashed by default and can be HMAC-signed server-side; require-verification and allowed-origins help restrict requests to your domains. You are responsible for safeguarding any HMAC identity secret issued to your project.

AI-generated content

Responses are generated by an AI system and may be inaccurate or incomplete. You are responsible for reviewing AI-generated content before relying on it, and for presenting the in-chat AI-disclosure notice to your end users.

Intellectual property

All content, features, and functionality of Widget-Chat — including software, designs, text, graphics, and logos — are owned by Widget-Chat and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You retain ownership of content you submit through the service. By using the service, you grant us a license to use, process, and display your content solely to provide the service.

Service availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance, updates, or modifications that temporarily affect availability.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Widget-Chat shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses resulting from:

• Your use of, or inability to use, the service
• Unauthorized access to your data
• Errors, bugs, or service interruptions
• Third-party conduct or content

Warranty disclaimer

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account for any breach of these Terms. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings.

Changes to terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or through the service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

Governing law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
